We begin the Advent Season by “remembering” what Jesus has done for us. The Passion of Christ actually contextualizes and frames the celebration of the Birth of Christ. As followers of Jesus, we will engage in the “action” of remembering through the Celebration of the Lord’s Supper. We will also be encouraged to use the Advent Season as a time of “active remembrance” through our daily actions.
